USB-C TO USB-C Connection:

If your laptop has a full-featured USB-C port (i.e. supports charging, data transfer, and video signal transfer), you can connect to the monitor via USB-C TO USB-C.

USB-A + HDMI Connection:

If your laptop does not have a full-featured USB-C port or the USB-C port is in use, you can use a USB-A TO USB-C cable and an HDMI TO USB-C cable to connect to the monitor.

Please Note:

1.When connecting the HDMI TO USB-C cable, be sure to connect the HDMI TO USB-C cable to the USB-C port labeled “HDMI” on the monitor.

2.If you try the HDMI and USB-A connection method, make sure you connect USB-A first and HDMI second. If the screen displays “No signal”, simply disconnect the HDMI cable and reconnect it.

3.Please make sure that the width of the laptop is not more than 15.6″. Otherwise, you will not be able to install this laptop screen extender.

Q: “No signal” appears on the screenA: 1) USB-C connection: Make sure the USB-C port on the laptop can output video signals (you can see it in the laptop manual), and plug the USB-C cable into the correct port of the laptop screen extender (TYPE-C1 and TYPE-C2 are written on the device).2) HDMI and USB-A connection: Check the back of the laptop monitor extender and make sure the HDMI to USB-C cable is plugged into the Type-C port marked with HDMI on the screen extender (with font logo). Use another USB-A to USB-C cable as a power supply to connect the laptop and portable monitor, power the screen extender, and activate the laptop after connecting.

Q: Screen flickering and blackA: It may be that your laptop battery is low or the voltage is low, please use an additional USB-A to USB-C cable to power the laptop or monitor extender.

Q: The screen does not light up after connection?A: It may be that your laptop is low on power. Please use an additional power supply that provides 5V/2A to charge the monitor. Please activate your laptop screen and avoid putting your computer to sleep.
