How to Use KLAPiT Double-Sided Clear Mounting Tape

Step 1 – Clean both Surfaces

Ensure that both the surfaces are flat and dry. Clean both the surfaces before application, making sure that both the surfaces are free of any dust or dirt. Make sure KLAPiT double sided heavy duty mounting clear tape is being used in an environment wherein the temperature doesn’t exceed 180°F/80°C and doesn’t fall below 14°F/-10°C. Not for use in applications wherein injury could result if mounted item fell.

Step 2 – Cut required amount of tape

Cut out the required amount of tape using a scissor. Remember that for every 10cm, KLAPiT double sided heavy duty mounting clear tape. Use the 10cm scale provided on the Recommend usage of KLAPiT SUPER TAPE on objects less than 5cm/1.97in depth.

Step 3 – Apply the tape on the object

Apply KLAPiT double sided heavy duty mounting clear tape at the back of the object, allowing for equivalent distribution of weight to keep the object parallel to the wall. Press the tape firmly against the object to ensure that the carbon nanotubes establish a super strong bond with the object. If the object is hung vertically, place the tape horizontally. If the object is hung horizontally, place the tape vertically.

Step 4 – Remove the liner and hang, fix, install the object

Remove the linear from KLAPiT double sided heavy duty mounting clear tape and align the object to the desired placement. Press firmly as KLAPIT SUPER TAPE conforms to the surface, creating a highly durable permanent bond. The tape surface must adhere entirely to both sides. If any of the two surfaces are uneven, the tape may not hold the object. Do not use the tape on wallpaper or other delicate and non-stick surfaces.
